A strong cold front will move through the region early Monday morning. North to northwest winds will increase in the wake of the front and humidities will fall quickly in the afternoon as temperatures slowly rise. During the afternoon relative humidity of 14 to 24% will develop with winds of 15 to 25 mph gusting to 30 to 35 mph. As the cured fuels across the entire region dry out throughout the day the danger for explosive growth of fires will increase. Any wildfires that form will expand quickly.
